Before my brother in law Don passed away, I spent a lot of time with him helping him to get his book started. He knew he didn’t have a lot of time. One thing he kept saying to everybody was, “take care of my Diane”. I know today that he would be smiling just to see her happy, even if it meant meeting someone. So I wrote this for her, and out of the great respect I have for Don. Thank you to Renee Laboureux and Keith McPherson for writing this song with me.
